All
students attend art class twice a week in the Guerin Jubilee
Center on campus.
During this time, students learn art elements such as line,
shape, color, value, texture, space and form. Teachers incorporate
art expression and art and craft activities in the classroom
to enhance meaning in core curricular subject areas.
The "ART CHART" is a bulletin board which is displayed in
the foyer of our school for all parents and visitors to see.
Check every other week to see featured student art work.
Preschool students attend "Story Time" with an age specific
art project at the Indiana Historical Society 3 times a year.
Elementary students attend class, tour the studio and make
and take an art project from the Indianapolis Art League in
the summer each year. |
